International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE):
- is ideal for language learners who need to prove their ability to work in a financial context
- tests the four skills of reading, writing listening and speaking
- tests using exercises from everyday working life in the field of finance
- ICFE tests at levels B2/C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) — an internationally recognised benchmark of language ability
The exam is divided into four parts:
- Reading (75 minutes)
- Writing (75 minutes)
- Listening (40 minutes)
- Speaking (16 minutes)
Candidates take the Speaking test in pairs and are tested on their ability to take part in different types of interaction: with the examiner, with the other candidate and by themselves.
