The Diploma de Español - Nivel A1- is at Level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) — an internationally recognised benchmark of language ability. This certificate attests that candidates have sufficient linguistic ability for a very basic range of the most common expressions used in the Spanish-speaking world. The exam is divided into four parts: (90 minutes altogether with no breaks between the parts)
