South Tyrolean dialect

South Tyrolean German with its distinctive, characteristic features differs not only from the everyday language spoken in other German-speaking areas but especially from that standard high German which is usually used for teaching in schools.

Through specifically developed content and course materials, the Hoi Hanni course aims at exposing language learners to the everyday language used in South Tyrol.

Experienced teachers and a comfortable, relaxed learning atmosphere offer the learner a course full of variety, one in which the communicative aspects of the language share the limelight with the opportunity of learning more about South Tyrolean culture.

A good level of German is required to attend this course (at least B1). Those wishing to join a group first have to do a written test followed by an oral interview to assess their level.
Prerequisite: at least a B1 level of German.
