Italian for teens
The CELI exams for young adults were developed by the Centro per la Valutazione e la Certificazione Linguistica (CVCL) following widespread requests for exams more suitable to teenagers (from 13 to 17 years old).
Even though these exams are aimed at a younger public than the normal CELI exams, the type and structure of the exam has been maintained, it is only the topics which have been changed, being more suitable for teens in terms of their interests, their world knowledge and their ability to deal with certian arguments.
The CELI exams for young adults are set against the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages of the Council of Europe.
These exams attest the ability to use the Italian language in the most common communicative situations a teen might find him or herself in.
