Communication regarding Article 13
For the purposes of Article 13 of Law No. 196 of 30th June 2003, we would like to inform you of the following points regarding the handling of personal data:
1. The reason for the handling of general personal data, which can be requested or otherwise acquired before, during or after a course or other event, is to ensure the efficient execution of that course or event, as well as any related services and/or the fulfilment of any related obligations which the public sector might require. The processing of data is carried out according to the instructions of these public sector bodies, as well as according to Alpha & Beta Genossenschaft's data processing procedures.
2. Personal data can be dealt with using electronic or other automatic means. In consideration of the obligations and restrictions laid down by law 196/2003, all procedures that are needed for the handling concerned may be used.
3. Personal data is shared with those members of the administrative staff who have access to company premises and branch offices and with teachers and lecturers who deal with courses or events on either the organisational or the pedagogical side via the usual company internal data communication channels. In the event of an incident involving insurance claims, the insurance company concerned will be supplied with the relevant data.
For courses and events that are run jointly with co-operation partners or as part of a contract, personal data will be passed on to the partner or to the client.
Personal data will be collected when using the computers in the Self Access Centre according to the legal obligations laid down in the anti-terrorism regulations - Law No. 155/2005.
4. Supplying data for the aims of the above decribed handling of data is necessary to guarantee the efficient execution of courses or events, and/or to be able to issue such documents as confirmation of attendance, certificates etc. Partial data disclosure could prevent Alpha & Beta Genossenschaft from fully carrying out the above mentioned obligations.
5. Apart from the aims stated in point 1 above, personal data could also be used for sending information about our company events, initatives and products and publications from our publishing house via the means of mailings, bulletins, emails or gadgets etc.
6. In order to ascertain customer satisfaction with our course offer and the quality of the service we provide, Alpha & Beta Genossenschaft reserves the right to carry out surveys, send questionnaires or similar either directly or through a company which specialises in this.
7. Any person affected can at any time exercise their right according to Article 7 of Law 196/2003 (regarding access to their own data, correcting data, cancelling data file etc.) if they apply to the proprietor of the data processing (see point 8) to do so.
